About 366 Objects

On January 1, 2012, I started a new project called “366 Objects“. It came about because I need to challenge myself through photography in a new way, and I am interested in questioning the meaning of the objects I surround myself with. I have walked away from my worldly possessions for extended periods of time, and each time I was excited to see them again. I couldn’t wait to eat dinner on the dishes my sister gave to me one Christmas, and I craved the warmth of the fingerless gloves I knitted. My hypothesis is that through 366 Objects, I will find that I keep things because they have connections to people I love, because they make my life easier, or because I think they are beautiful. Hopefully you will join me on my leap year adventure!!!

Note: The logo is a profile of the Wood Accordion Sewing Box my brother gave me, which is Object 002.
