October 26, 2009 – As soon as I heard my friend Jessica was having a baby, I knew I wanted to make something. But I procrastinated, and didn’t actually buy the yarn until the day I heard she had the baby! After a little deliberation, I settled on the giant granny square, and went at it.

November 26, 2009 – I’m over half way done, but I better finish fast because I want to give it to Melina the first time I meet her. And I should be meeting her this weekend!
